country is not just an ambition but a dream he hopes to realise. Daily Trust reports that he described President Muhammadu Buhari's administration as sectional, saying that voting him out in 2019 will bring national unity and cohesion.

speaking in Owerri, the Imo state capital while meeting with the stakeholders
of the party ahead of the October 6, presidential primaries, Saraki, said that
Nigeria has never been so divided in ethnicity, politics and religion. Saraki
said that Nigeria need a president who has a national spread to unite all parts
of the country, respect national character, grow local businesses and support entrepreneurial
skills. The Senate president, who described himself as the right person to lead
Nigeria in the next political era, said that the All Progressives Congress
(APC) led government has failed on its promises to Nigerians. According to him,
“By the grace of God, I will emerge PDP presidential candidate. My desire is
not an just ambition. Nigeria has never been this divided. People are afraid to
be called Nigerians. Ethnicity and religion have taken over. There is no
inclusion anymore,no fairness, no federal character.” He promised to partner
with the people of the southeast to develop their business and entrepreneurial
potentials. The chairman of PDP in Imo state, Charles Ezekwem , who received
the presidential hopeful, said that Igbo were interested in a presidential
candidate that would restructure the country and create an additional state in
the southeast. Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that in an effort to
avoid controversies after its presidential primaries, the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP)'s Board of Trustees (BoT) said that it is considering the reduction of

on Thursday, September 6, in Abuja revealed this after a meeting with members
