BE SINCERE: Between Olamide vs Slimcase, Who Is More Relevant On The Street This Year?

As head towards the end of 2018, and the music industry has discovered some talented started artist that might the test of time due to their style of music and the massive acceptance from the audience.

Otunba Lamba, Slimcase was discovered with his various street slangs and the was also featured on the street hit single title “Oshozondi” but nobody knows he can stay relevant up till this present moment. He has been featured on some many hit singles like Diet, Shawa Shawa, Overload, Lavish, Big Alhaji, Merule, Shebe etc. Also, his latest single Otumba Lamba has made him relevant on the street.

African No 1 Afro Pop Star Wizkid noticed his unique style in the industry and featured him on his most anticipated tune this year titled “Gucci Snake”. 

Slimcase even seems to outshine Olamide on the Coca-Cola World world Cup Naija Theme Song “Issa Goal”

Meanwhile,  The YBNL Boss Olamide who has been the King of Street for the past eight years dropping an album every year and shutting down shows both at home and abroad seems to be lacking creativity in dishing out hit single as usual.

To my surprise, Smal Doctor defeated him at 2018 Headies Award to win the Street Hop single for the first time. Guess his relevance on this street this year is not stable.

Since his first single this year “Science Student” he lost the zeal of pulling out hits single. His recent tracks like Owo Shayo, Omo Ologo are average songs that can’t last.

The rapper has not cemented a hit single to his brand this year which is unusual for him. Guess the like of Idowest, Mr. Real and Slim case are stepping up there came to take his place.
